The Opportunity:


The Sr. Officer - R&D will perform experiments for the development of immunodiagnostic products, mainly ELISA and rapid card assays. The role includes performing molecular testing of clinical samples as required, data organization, updating R&D records, supporting technology transfer and process establishment, preparing sample panel banks, and managing inventory, including updates and ordering.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education - M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Medical Laboratory Technology.

  • Experience - Minimum 2 - 5 Years of experience is required.

  • Demonstrates strong time management, problem-solving abilities, and effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills while being a collaborative team player.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in the role of a quality control executive and consistently exhibits honesty, trustworthiness, respect, and flexibility.

  • Experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) field is preferred.

  • Expertise in developing in-vitro diagnostic kits such as ELISA and rapid card tests.

  • Strong scientific and technical knowledge in the diagnostics/life sciences domain for research and development of diagnostic products.

  • Skilled in designing and prototyping diagnostic products to gain a competitive edge in the market.

  • Demonstrates innovative and creative thinking.

  • Possesses strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.

How You Will Thrive and Create an Impact:

  • Prepare and maintain documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 standards, ensuring regulatory adherence.

  • Maintain R&D data and technology-driven methodologies in line with company policies, ensuring accurate recording of raw data.

  • Manage R&D projects, including design and development, process optimization, clinical trials, technical troubleshooting, documentation, cost analysis, and quality standards.

  • Provide technical and scientific support to R&D, production, and PMT teams for related projects and activities.

  • Ensure proper biohazard waste management in R&D as per SOPs and guidelines and train officers and junior staff.

  • Authorized to prepare procedures and protocols and verify R&D logbooks.
