Primary Purpose of the Role

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible to collect the raw ingradients, EMP(Environmental monitoring program)sample,

  Packaging, in process samples and finished product samples as per sampling plan and conduct

  the testing as per AN methods for salmonella,Enterobacter sakazakii,Escherichia coli,Total

  bacterial count,Staphylococcus aureus,shigella,Listeria monocytogen,coliforms and various

  yeast & mold.

  u2022 Responsible for testing of all finished product manufactured at at JH site as per BIS and

  methods to release the batches.

  u2022 Responsible for preparation and sterilization microbiological media according to AN and BIS

  methods requirement and conduct growth promotion testing as per AN method and record the

  results.

  u2022 Resonsible for Decontamination of Biohazard waste generated from micro lab.

  u2022 Responsible for conduct the routine calibration / Verification for glassware and equipments.

  u2022 Responsible for compositing the FP and RM as per method followed by GLP.

  u2022 To support for validation, calibration , Preventive maintainance actvity as required.

  u2022 Strictly follow the GDP to avoid the errors during documentation.

  u2022 Maintain the 6S in Micro lab and supporting areas religiously

  u2022 Maintain the raw data EMP,FP,RM IP,and adhoc test samples for respective test parmeters and

  record keeping.

  u2022 Follow the GHK practices in lab and monitor the routine cleaning practices.

  u2022 Anny deviation observed like OOS, OAL immediately informed to Supervisor or Lab Manager.

  u2022 Record keeping to be followed as per retention policy.

  u2022 Handling of additions projects as per management directions.

  u2022 Complete the compliancewire training as per schedulel.

  u2022 Review the methods on periodically as per schedule.

  u2022 Media and consumables tracking and inventory management.

  u2022 Resposible for collecting in-process sample and testing and release of In-process sample

  u2022 Resonsible for preparation sanitizer and cleaning solution as per SOP

  u2022 Responsible for performing Growth promotion testing as per site and AN policy

  u2022 Responsible to attend the Tier 1 meeting and MSP on daily basis.

  u2022 Idea generation and implementation.
  
  Education:

  u2022Post graduate in Microbiology / Dairy Microbiology with 5-10 years experience in food industry or Phrama or equivalent industry .

  Background:

  Hands on experience on BAM, APHA,AOAC and BIS microbiological methods for Nutritional powders.

  u2022 Knowledge of microbiological procedures/ operating methods of equipments and Food Safety Management Systems

  u2022 Knowledge of QA checks regarding RM,PM, IP, FM and EMP checks..
