About the Role

Shanthi Feeds Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated Officer – Production to support day-to-day production activities in our modern chicken processing and further processing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting production planning, process control, manpower coordination, productivity, yield and food safety while ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day chicken processing and production activities.
• Monitor production processes from receiving and slaughtering to evisceration, chilling, cutting, packing and dispatch.
• Support operations of further processed/value-added chicken products.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality and yield.
• Monitor manpower allocation, line efficiency and production performance.
• Ensure proper process parameters, hygiene and GMP practices are followed.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor raw material utilization, product yield and process losses.
• Identify production issues and support timely corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, shift reports and process documentation.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
• Support implementation of HACCP, GMP, GHP and food safety practices.
• Assist in reducing wastage, improving productivity and maintaining operational efficiency.

Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma – Food Technology, Food Processing, Dairy Technology, Meat Technology or related discipline
• Graduates in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology may also apply.
• 0–3 years of experience in production/food processing.
• Freshers with a strong interest in chicken processing and production operations are welcome.
• Candidates with experience in poultry processing, meat processing or food manufacturing will be preferred.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office and production documentation
• Understanding of hygiene, food safety and GMP practices
