Responsibilities

• Evaluate and appraise gold ornaments accurately for purity and value to determine loan eligibility.
• Process and disburse gold loan applications in accordance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service to walk-in clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth loan transactions.
• Ensure safe custody and secure storage of gold ornaments and related documentation.
• Monitor loan portfolios, manage renewals, and follow up on overdue accounts for timely recovery.
• Cross-sell other consumer banking products and services to meet branch distribution targets.
• Maintain high standards of operational integrity, compliance, and risk management.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in gold appraisal, valuation, and gold loan processing within a financial institution or retail lending environment.
• Strong understanding of gold purity testing methods and market valuation standards.
• Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail in handling physical assets and financial transactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven branch environment.
• Sound knowledge of consumer banking products, operational risk, and regulatory compliance.
