Key Responsibilities
- Wet Chemical Analysis
- Perform classical wet chemistry tests such as titrations, pH determination, LOD, ash content, chloride/sulfate tests, and other compendial analyses (as per IP/BP/USP/EP).
- Prepare standard and sample solutions as per test procedures.
- Record and interpret test data accurately.
- Ensure reagents, standards, and volumetric solutions are prepared and standardized as per defined frequencies.
- Instrumental Analysis
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer titrator, IR spectrophotometer, Conductivity meter, pH meter, and analytical balances.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and calibration checks on instruments.
- Ensure instrument logbooks and calibration records are properly maintained.
- Documentation & Review
- Record analytical results in laboratory notebooks, worksheets, and LIMS as per GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
- Review analytical raw data, worksheets, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify calculations, solution preparations, and instrument performance before approving results.
- Ensure timely completion of analytical documentation and release of results.
