Job Description

Company Description DTU Innovation & Incubation Foundation (DTU-IIF) is the Technology Business Incubator of Delhi Technological University (DTU), created to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. It supports early-stage ventures through access to infrastructure, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The foundation focuses on technology-driven startups, providing a structured environment for experimentation and growth. DTU-IIF works closely with academic and industry stakeholders to help innovators transform ideas into sustainable businesses.

Role Description The Office Executive (Finance and Accounts) role is a contract, on-site position based in Delhi, OH. The role involves managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, processing invoices, handling reimbursements, and monitoring payments and receipts. The Office Executive will support budgeting activities, prepare basic financial reports, assist with audits, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. The position also includes coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, organizing financial documentation, and supporting general office administration related to finance and accounts.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting or ERP software and MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to prepare and review financial documents, invoices, and simple financial statements with attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of budgeting processes, expense tracking, and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in finance and accounts, preferably in an academic, non-profit, or incubation setting, is an advantage.
  • Capability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and uphold high ethical standards.
