Purpose of the Job
- Responsible for sales of Nouryon Specialties across multiple industries with particular focus on Agrochemicals in Indian Region.
- Manage sales to medium and small customers.
- Deliver sales and contribution margin budget.
- Provide accurate sales forecast.
- Identify and develop business growth opportunities for assigned customers/prospects.
- Overall, this position is responsible for several critical tasks to meet customer requirements, establish the new business, and generate sustainable business. The position will draw on business acumen, commercial skills & interpersonal skills.
- This position will involve limited travel to customers and manufacturing sites.
About the job (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop, manage and ensure realization of sales for the assigned accounts.
- Manage territories with the respective Territory Manager (responsible for Segment/Market combination) achieving the business goals for those territories.
- Connect and follow up on new business enquiries as part of sales forecasting and opportunity management.
- Establish and build relationships with key decision makers and buyers.
- Understand the value of our products for customers business, aiming at value pricing.
- Serve as a lead contracts negotiator on commercial terms for small and medium customers defined by the business.
- Serve as the central resource for communications with the customer on new product developments in the Nouryon Portfolio.
- Provide market intelligence feedback to commercial management on market environment, competitor activity. Manage customers overdue receivables within target.
- Manage customer complaints through to final resolution.
- Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by periodical and ad-hoc reports and/or analysis.
- Pro-actively monitor order pattern behavior.
- Onboard customers to MyNouryon facilitating electronic orders, self-service document retrieval.
- Cater to new enquiries of Pharma customers in coordination with respective Account Manager and S&MM.
- Focus on development of products market under guidance of Account Manager and Global Sales manager.
- Sample coordination for new customer / potential customer with Site.
- Managing growth opportunities in CRM.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or BE Chemical Engineering (MBA will be an advantage).
- 2-5years of experience in Sales Development and from Agrochemical industry is preferred.
- Demonstrates strengths in Customer Focus, Innovation and Teamwork.
- Passionate, ambitions and driver for results.
- Discipline, optimism and open mindset.
- Solid oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills.
