The Offering Manager for Networking and Security Services is a key leadership role responsible for defining, developing, and managing Lenovo's global portfolio of networking and security service offerings. This includes the strategy, design, and lifecycle management of professional and managed services that enable customers to securely connect, protect, and optimize their hybrid cloud environments.
This role will define Lenovo's go-to-market approach for networking and security solutions, ensuring that service offerings align with customer needs, emerging technology trends, and Lenovo's infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and hybrid cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Strategy Development Define and execute the global strategy for Networking and Security Services, including managed network operations, zero-trust architectures, secure connectivity, SD-WAN, firewall, and threat protection services.
- Offering Definition Develop modular, scalable service offers with defined scope, SLAs, delivery models, and pricing structures that align with Lenovo TruScale and Managed Services frameworks.
- Lifecycle Ownership Manage the end-to-end service lifecycle from concept to retirement, driving innovation, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Global Delivery, and Sales teams to ensure portfolio alignment, technical readiness, and delivery excellence.
- Partner Ecosystem Management Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key networking and cybersecurity vendors (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, and others) to enhance Lenovo's service capabilities.
- Market Competitive Analysis Assess market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities and portfolio differentiation.
- Enablement GTM Support Work with Marketing and Sales Enablement to develop positioning, collateral, and training materials that communicate Lenovo's unique value proposition.
- Financial Management Define business models, pricing strategies, and financial KPIs to ensure profitability and scalability.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product or service offering management, preferably in networking, security, or cloud infrastructure domains.
- Deep understanding of enterprise networking, cloud security frameworks, and managed service delivery models.
- Experience with technologies such as SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and network observability.
- Proven success developing service portfolios for large-scale global enterprises or service providers.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical solutions into commercial service offerings.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
- Experience with automation, AI-driven network operations (AIOps), and cloud-native security models.
- Prior experience in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment integrating on-prem and public cloud architectures.
