Position

Manager OEM Sales


Incumbent :To be appointed

Department : B2B / Institutional Sales OEM Division

Location :Corporate Office

Job Specification

Reporting To

Mr. Sumit Singh

Span of Control (Supervisory Responsibilities)

  • Manage and grow OEM key accounts

  • Coordinate with internal teams including product, engineering, and supply chain

  • May supervise and guide 12 sales coordinators, if required


Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and onboard new OEM clients across India

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing OEM partners

  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual OEM sales targets

  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and long-term supply agreements

  • Drive bulk sales of solar products including Solar Panels, Inverters, Lithium Batteries, and BESS

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to meet OEM technical and customization requirements

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing dynamics

  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to payment terms

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline, and MIS reports

  • Represent Loom Solar at OEM exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events


Specific Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of:

    • Solar Modules

    • Inverters

    • Lithium Batteries

    • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

  • Knowledge of OEM procurement processes and technical evaluations

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • Expertise in pricing, costing, and sales forecasting

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis


Major KRAs (SMART)
  • Achieve defined annual OEM revenue targets

  • Acquire 810 new OEM clients annually

  • Improve gross margins by 35%

  • Maintain 90% or higher sales forecast accuracy

  • Ensure 95% on-time payment collections

  • Maintain customer satisfaction score of 4.5/5 or above



Requirements

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business


Preferred / Additional Qualification

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing

  • Solar / Renewable Energy Certification


Experience

  • 47 years of experience in B2B / OEM Sales

  • Prior experience in solar components or OEM account management preferred

Compensation
  • CTC Range: Up to 6 LPA (as per experience and suitability)
