About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced ODS Technical & CoE Lead to drive governance, standardization, and operational excellence for the Operational Data Store (ODS) platform.

The role involves defining data policies, enforcing best practices, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and implement an ODS governance framework covering data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and access control

Build and manage the ODS Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive standardization, automation, and best practices

Collaborate with Data Architects, ETL Developers, and DBAs to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance

Monitor ODS performance, optimize ETL pipelines, and ensure adherence to SLA commitments

Identify risks, track KPIs, and report platform performance and roadmap progress to leadership

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across data engineering processes and tools

Technical Skills:

Databases: Oracle, SQL Server

ETL Tools: Informatica, DataStage, or equivalent

Languages: PL/SQL, SQL, Shell/Python (automation)

APIs: ORDS, REST

Governance Tools: Collibra, Informatica EDC, Alation

Methodologies: Agile, DevOps, DataOps

Required Qualifications:

Strong experience in Data Engineering / ODS / Data Platforms

Proven experience in Data Governance and CoE setup

Hands-on expertise in ETL, database management, and performance tuning

Experience working in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience in large-scale data platforms

Exposure to automation and monitoring tools

Knowledge of cloud-based data environments (optional)

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Strong leadership and decision-making ability

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
