Role Overview
As a Research Engineer specializing in Agentic and Multimodal AI, you will be at the forefront of Octro's efforts to integrate advanced intelligence into our gaming ecosystems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to design and deploy autonomous agents and multimodal models that enhance user interaction and game mechanics. Your work will directly influence the sophistication of our platforms, ensuring that our AI initiatives translate into tangible improvements in player retention, personalization, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex agentic workflows using frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain to automate decision-making processes within our gaming platforms.
- Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs) to process multimodal inputs, enabling more intuitive and responsive game environments.
- Design robust Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to ensure AI agents have access to accurate, context-aware information for real-time problem solving.
- Establish rigorous benchmarking protocols to evaluate the performance, latency, and accuracy of AI models, ensuring they meet the high-performance standards required for production environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research prototypes into scalable production services, optimizing model inference and resource utilization.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning to drive innovation in our product roadmap and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks, with a strong foundation in building and deploying Large Language Models and Vision Language Models.
- Proven ability to design autonomous agents using LangChain and LangGraph, with a deep understanding of state management and multi-agent orchestration.
- Proficiency in implementing RAG architectures and optimizing vector databases for high-speed retrieval in production-grade applications.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to create comprehensive benchmarking frameworks that measure model efficacy against business-critical KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical research into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit, comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment based in Noida, and capable of mentoring junior team members.
- A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field, supported by 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in the AI/ML domain.
