Job Description
As OCM Consultant, you will lead/support organizational change initiatives at our clients, to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and business strategies. This role focuses on the people side of change, helping organizations maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance during periods of transformation. The OCM Consultant will work with stakeholders at all levels, develop and implement change management strategies, and provide coaching and support throughout the change lifecycle.
Additionally, you will also work on sales pursuits and market development activities, thought leadership tasks and other org-wide initiatives
Role and Key Responsibilities
OCM Consulting
- Lead or manage OCM activities for complex, transformational, or program-wide change initiatives
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance
- Conduct change impact analyses, assess organizational readiness, and identify key stakeholders
- Design and deliver training programs and workshops to support change initiatives
- Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
- Build relationships and establish trust with leaders, managers, and employees at all levels
- Assess and manage risks related to change adoption, including identifying and addressing points of resistance
- Provide coaching and support to senior leaders, managers, and project teams to enable effective change leadership
- Integrate change management activities into project
- Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of change management strategies, adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes
- Mentor and guide junior OCM team members as appropriate
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities as part of change initiatives
- Contribute to the maturity and continuous improvement of OCM methodologies, tools, and practices
Sales Pursuits, Thought Leadership and Unit Initiatives
- Contribute to sales pursuits and market development initiatives, working with the sales and account teams. Build comprehensive proposals from inception to submission, owning up the OCM content.
- Drive thought leadership through industry solutions, and publications.
- Lead/contribute to org / unit initiatives.
Required (Mandatory)
- 8-15 years of experience in Manufacturing/Auto/Resources sectors, with at-least 4-7 years as OCM consultant/leader - preferably within large-scale or complex transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR), and tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
- Excellent relationship-building, active listening, and influencing skills
- Ability to work effectively in highly matrixed and ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities
- Experience with project management approaches and the project lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support leaders and teams through change
Required (Good to Have)
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP)
- OCM experience in technology/digital transformations
- Ability to see the big picture while managing detailed change activities
- Experience designing and delivering learning and development programs
- Familiarity with Software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Education Qualifications
- Graduation Engineering, Commerce, Law, Social Science, Human Resources etc.
- Post-Graduation/Specialization MBA, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Learning Design (Not mandatory)
