Job Purpose
To design, deploy, manage, and support scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role involves automation, infrastructure management, and supporting mission-critical workloads, while also contributing to multi-cloud strategies involving AWS or Azure as needed.
Certifications
Good to Have: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certified Architect Associate or Professional
Nice to Have: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
Experience
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in OCI. Exposure to AWS or Azure is a strong plus.
Responsibilities (includes All Tasks)
Design and implement infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
v Deploy and manage OCI core services such as Compute, Networking, Load Balancers, Object Storage, and Databases
v Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager If required
v Configure VCN, subnets, routing, NAT, DRG, and secure communication channels
v Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
v Monitor system performance and resource utilization using OCI Monitoring and Logging.
v Collaborate with application and security teams to support deployment and maintenance
v Contribute to cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift or re-architecture
v Ensure security best practices including data encryption (in transit and at rest), IAM configuration, and key management
v Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and cloud architecture diagrams
v Provide L2/L3 support for cloud-related incidents and requests
v Support hybrid or multi-cloud environments when required (AWS/Azure)
v Participate in cost optimization and governance practices
v Ready to work 247 rotational Shift.
Technical Skills /Competencies
MANDATORY
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Scripting skills: Shell / Bash / Python / PowerShell
Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VCN, routing, security lists, firewalls)
OCI IAM roles, policies, and access control
Logging, monitoring, and alerting on OCI
Backup and DR design on OCI
Linux system administration and troubleshooting
OPTIONAL
v Exposure to AWS or Azure platform
v Oracle Database Cloud Services management
v Kubernetes / Docker / OCI Container Engine (OKE)
v CI/CD pipeline integration using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
