Job Description

Company Description Ray of Hope Center for Autism provides quality early intervention services to children with autism and related disabilities, using evidence-based methods from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The center focuses on improving socially significant behaviors such as communication, language, social interaction, self-care, work, and academic skills. Services are designed to support children in gaining functional independence and enhancing their quality of life. The team also works to identify and reduce problem behaviors that interfere with learning, including tantrums and self-injurious behaviors. Ray of Hope offers a structured, supportive environment for both children and families.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Hosur. The Occupational Therapist will assess children with autism and related disabilities to identify strengths, challenges, and functional needs. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, integrating ABA principles to support communication, social interaction, sensory regulation, and self-care skills. The role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members and caregivers, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions based on data and observed outcomes. The Occupational Therapist will also provide caregiver training, contribute to behavior support plans, and participate in team meetings and case reviews.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric practice preferred.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Pediatrics and Medicine relevant to child development and neuro developmental conditions.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Recognized degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
  • Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disabilities in clinical or educational settings is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to develop individualized intervention plans, track measurable goals, and maintain clear, timely documentation.
  • Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and patient-centered approach.
