Occupational Therapist

Orange Child Development & Rehabilitation Centre (OCDRC) is a pediatric specialty center dedicated to supporting children with developmental delays, neurological disorders, and learning disabilities. The clinic provides multidisciplinary intervention services, including Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Counseling, Sensory Integration Therapy, and Individualized Education Programs. OCDRC focuses on promoting positive growth to enhance children's social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development through a holistic approach. This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist position based in Kozhikode Taluka. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs tailored to the individual needs of children with developmental delays or disabilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, and collaborating with other professionals and parents to ensure comprehensive care. The role also involves monitoring progress and making adjustments to intervention programs as needed.

• Proficiency in Occupational Therapy techniques with knowledge in Pediatrics and Rehabilitation
• Understanding of medicine, including related physiological and neurological conditions
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with parents
• Empathy, patience, and an ability to work with children with special needs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Relevant certification or licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in a pediatric or therapeutic setting is highly desirable
