Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Malappuram. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and ensure the implementation of individualized therapy programs for patients to support their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities include working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide care and rehabilitation tailored to patient needs. The role also involves delivering therapeutic interventions, especially for pediatric and adult populations requiring rehabilitation services, while maintaining meticulous records and documentation for patient progress.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy techniques, including designing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Knowledge of general Medicine and Rehabilitation practices to support patient recovery and well-being.
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience or specialization in working with Pediatrics is advantageous.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, along with relevant licensure as per regulations.
- Empathy, critical thinking, and adaptability in fast-paced healthcare environments.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
