Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients physical, emotional, and cognitive ability.
  • Identify barriers to participation in daily activities and develop individualized treatment plans.

Treatment Planning:

  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living skills (ADLs)
  • Set measurable goals in collaboration with patients and their families.

Therapeutic Intervention:

  • Provide hands-on therapy to enhance patients functional abilities.
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to facilitate independence.

Patient Education:

  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance daily functioning.
  • Provide resources and support for home modifications and assistive devices

Collaboration

  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers.
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to care planning.

Who we are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid state license to practice as an occupational therapist.

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.

Experience:

8 years of experience in clinical setting.
