Role Summary
The Oracle WebCenter Content WCC Administrator is responsible for installation configuration administration monitoring and support of Oracle WebCenter Content environments The role ensures system availability security performance and integration with enterprise applications such as Oracle EBS Fusion SOA and external systems in line with agreed SLAs
Key Responsibilities
Administration Operations
Administer Oracle WebCenter Content WCC including Content Server Inbound Refinery and WebCenter Content Imaging if applicable
Perform user role and security administration including access controls and content permissions
Configure and maintain metadata content types DocTypes profiles and workflows
Manage content lifecycle checkin checkout revisions archiving retention and purge policies
Perform backup recovery patching and upgrades of WCC environments
Monitor system health logs and job executions proactively identify and resolve issues
Incident Problem Change Management
Provide L2L3 production support for WCC incidents and service requests
Perform root cause analysis RCA and implement permanent fixes
Coordinate with Oracle Support for SRs and patch recommendations
Support change deployments enhancements and configuration updates as per CAB approval
Integration Configuration
Support integration of Oracle WCC with
Oracle EBusiness Suite Fusion Applications
Oracle SOA OIC
WebLogic Server
External portals and thirdparty systems
Configure WebLogic domains managed servers JDBC data sources and security realms related to WCC
Support RESTSOAPbased content integrations
Performance Security Compliance
Perform performance tuning of WCC and WebLogic components
Ensure compliance with security policies auditing and access reviews
Implement and maintain disaster recovery DR and high availability HA setups as applicable
Maintain standard documentation SOPs runbooks configuration documents
Technical Skills Required
Strong experience in Oracle WebCenter Content WCC 11g12c administration
Good understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server administration
Handson experience with
Content Server configuration
Inbound Refinery
Workflows metadata models
ArchiveImportExport utilities
Working knowledge of LinuxUNIX
SQL knowledge for basic validation and troubleshooting
Experience with backup patching upgrades and DR activities
GoodtoHave Skills
Exposure to Oracle Fusion or EBS integrations with WCC
Knowledge of SOAOIC based integrations
Understanding of ITIL AMS support model
Experience in cloudhosted Oracle environments OCI preferred
Experience Qualifications
510 years of overall IT experience
35 years of relevant experience in Oracle WebCenter Content administration
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or equivalent
Soft Skills
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
Ability to work under SLAdriven production environments
Good communication skills for client and stakeholder coordination
Ownership mindset and documentation discipline
