O&M Site Manager – Solar (9.2 MW, KUSUM Project)Company: Nesuga Power Pvt Ltd

Role OverviewWe are hiring a senior O&M Site Manager (5–10 years experience) to take full ownership of plant performance, reliability, and compliance for a 9.2 MW ground-mounted solar project (4 × 2.3 MW).
This is a P&L-impacting role — you are accountable for generation, uptime, and loss minimization, not just site supervision.
Key Responsibilities1. Performance Ownership (Core KPI)- Deliver CUF aligned to design benchmarks; actively close performance gaps
- Identify losses across:
- DC (soiling, mismatch, string faults)
- AC (inverter trips, transformer inefficiencies)
- Evacuation (grid outages, HT line issues)
- Lead structured RCA and implement permanent fixes (not temporary resets)
2. Advanced O&M Execution- Own preventive & predictive maintenance strategy (not checklist-based execution)
- Optimize:
- Module cleaning cycles vs water/logistics cost vs yield
- Inverter loading & downtime patterns
- Ensure zero critical failures due to poor maintenance planning
3. Electrical Systems Leadership- Full responsibility for:
- HT line (11kV), transformers, VCB panels, protection systems
- Coordinate with DISCOM (TGSPDCL), CEIG, and external agencies
- Handle shutdown planning, fault isolation, and grid synchronization issues
4. SCADA, Data & Analytics- Drive decisions using SCADA / RMS data (not gut feel)
- Track and improve:
- PR, CUF, availability, downtime classification
- Ensure accurate data flow to DISCOM / SLDC (no compliance gaps)
5. Team & Vendor Leadership- Lead and discipline site team (technicians, electricians, security)
- Hold vendors accountable for SLAs (cleaning, maintenance, repairs)
- Build a high-accountability site culture (no passive escalation)
6. Compliance & Audit Readiness- Ensure full compliance with:
- CEIG requirements
- DISCOM / KUSUM guidelines
- Maintain audit-ready documentation (logs, test reports, safety records)
7. Safety & Risk Management- Own site safety — zero tolerance for violations
- Ensure:
- Proper earthing & protection systems
- PPE enforcement
- Incident reporting & prevention systems
What Success Looks Like- CUF consistently meeting/exceeding P50 benchmarks
- <1% avoidable downtime
- Zero major safety incidents
- Clean DISCOM / CEIG audits
- No recurring faults (strong RCA culture)
Qualifications & Experience- B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Renewable Energy
- 5–10 years in solar O&M (ground-mounted mandatory)
- Proven experience handling:
- Multi-MW plants independently
- HT systems & grid coordination
- SCADA-driven troubleshooting
