Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Jaipur for an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician. The O&M Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar energy systems, including solar power plants, water heating systems, street lights, and related infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, monitoring system performance, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring the safety and reliability of all installations. Communication with team members and adherence to operational protocols are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in solar system installation and maintenance, including experience with on-grid and off-grid solar power plants, solar water heating systems, and solar street lighting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, and perform inspections and routine maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards, with familiarity in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in ensuring the efficiency and safety of solar installations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Relevant technical certifications or a diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy-related fields is preferred.
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is an advantage.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
