NX Programmer

Responsibilities:

·      Develop and optimize CNC programs using NX (NX CAM) for VMC / HMC machines.

·      Handle 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis (multi-axis) machining programming.

·      Perform model preparation, tool path generation, and program validation.

·      Work on NX CAM for drawing modifications, corrections, and model adjustments as per production requirements.

·      Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T for accurate machining.

·      Set up and optimize machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.

·      Operate and supervise CNC machines with Fanuc controllers.

·      Ensure proper tool selection, fixtures, and cutting parameters.

·      Troubleshoot programming and machining issues on the shop floor.

·      Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for process improvement.

Supervise operators and ensure adherence to process discipline.
