Job Description
The Performance Optimization Specialist monitors and analyzes network performance, diagnosing root causes of issues. They recommend optimization actions, such as QoS tuning and software upgrades, to meet contractual KPI targets. This role involves generating performance reports and identifying issues that were not detected during testing. Specialists also assess capacity, traffic patterns, and recommend optimal network strategies, leveraging automation for efficiency.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Leads critical design and performance activities in customer projects.
- Independently solves complex problems in multi-vendor environments.
- Develops, reviews, and recommends network-wide designs covering performance, spectrum, and capacity.
- Provides regional recommendations for network design and optimization.
- Organizes and conducts field measurements and laboratory tests.
- Performs network audits, especially for fault diagnosis.
- Optimizes network components based on traffic trends and customer forecasts.
- Supports experts in developing network configuration files and conducting interface analysis.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in mobile network planning and design (RAN).
- In-depth knowledge of radio technologies, including GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR (5G).
- Experience with RF planning tools, including Atoll, MapInfo, TEMS, Actix, and QGIS.
- Nokia experience is a must, and familiarity with multi-vendor radio equipment (e.g., Ericsson, Huawei) is also required.
- Understanding of propagation models, interference analysis, and cell planning techniques
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledgeable in RF prediction plotting and technical presentation preparation
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
