Job Description
The Design Planning Specialist designs, analyzes, and plans network components for customer communication implementation. They evaluate network performance, prepare capacity needs, and conduct architecture design and cost studies. This role involves developing alternative routing scenarios and assessing economic and population growth impacts. Ultimately, they perform end-to-end design activities for physical network deployment.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Independently prepares high-level design, low-level design HLD LLD for customer network
- Independently prepares databases and provides documentation of the planned network
- Independent configuration file development, capacity planning, network interface analysis and design, and overall engineering support based on traffic trends
- Develops HLD LLD for low to medium complexity network requirements, capacity planning, and network interface analysis
- Develops planning and Design tasks for low to medium complexity networks and provides overall engineering support
- Parameter planning, basic product dimensioning, uses planning tools in Network Planning
- Support experts in developing the network configuration file and network interface analysis
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in mobile network planning and design (RAN).
- In-depth knowledge of radio technologies including GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR (5G).
- Experience with RF planning tools such as Atoll, MapInfo, TEMS, Actix, Qgis.
- Nokia experience is must and familiarity with multi-vendor radio equipment (e.g., Ericsson, Huawei).
- Understanding of propagation models, interference analysis, and cell planning technique
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledgeable in RF prediction plotting and technical presentation preparation
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ready and available to Work in different time zone (APAC, MEA, NAM Shifts etc...)
