NVH Engineer

Job description

• Responsible to lead vehicle development projects in NVH and durability CAE Simulations & Analyses to meet project requirements within the quality, cost, and schedule boundaries.
• Perform vibration, stiffness and durability simulations and analyze the results. Identify the root cause and propose feasible design countermeasures for performance convergence.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in the project for performance convergence and smooth execution of the project.
• Knowledge sharing within the team and develop young engineers to perform NVH/Durability CAE simulations

Skills:

• Good experience in performing NTF, VTF, Dynamic Stiffness and fatigue analysis and feasible design countermeasures for improvements
• Good working experience on performing Static, Normal Mode analysis, FRF simulations
• Good engineering analysis experience in validating and interpreting the CAE results and correlating with physical test results.
• Should be able to handle independently the CAE modeling, integration and simulation of full vehicle/BIW/ Subsystem levels
• Rich experience in CAE Pre-processors preferably ANSA/Hyper mesh.
• Solver proficiency on Nastran, Abaqus and Optistruct.
• Knowledge of optimization techniques and processes.
• Familiar in Model conversion between NASTRAN to ABAQUS vice-versa is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, report writing, technical documentation and presentation skills.
• Bachelor or master's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Automobile)
