Role Overview
The Head of Nutrition will operate as the business owner of the nutrition department responsible for revenue growth, retention, operational systems, team leadership, and long-term scalability.
This individual will treat the nutrition vertical as a startup within Tribe.
They will own:
- Revenue targets
- Retention metrics
- Operational efficiency
- Team performance
- Department profitability
Key Responsibilities1. P&L Ownership & Revenue Growth
- Own full revenue targets of the nutrition department
- Drive retention and increase lifetime value
- Improve revenue per client
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Work closely with sales to optimize conversion rates
- Track profit margins and performance dashboards
- Present weekly/monthly reports to founders
This role carries direct revenue accountability.
2. Department Operations
- Oversee day-to-day functioning of the nutrition vertical
- Ensure all client check-ins, plans, reports, and follow-ups are delivered on time
- Build, refine, and enforce SOPs
- Monitor turnaround times and workflow efficiency
- Maintain high quality-control standards
- Improve operational systems for scale
3. Team Leadership & Hiring
- Manage and mentor nutritionists
4. Data & Performance Tracking
Track and optimize:
- Client outcomes
- Retention rates
- Revenue per client
- Conversion metrics
- Productivity per nutritionist
- Department profitability
Must present structured performance dashboards to founders regularly.
5. Systems & Scalability
- Improve internal communication
- Build scalable workflows
- Implement automation tools
- Ensure smooth cross-department coordination
- Create systems that reduce dependency on individuals
