Job Description

A leading organization in the healthcare sector operating within the tertiary-care, multi-specialty hospital space in India. We deliver patient-centric inpatient and outpatient services, clinical governance, and quality-driven care across specialties.

We are hiring an experienced Nursing Superintendent to lead nursing operations, strengthen clinical quality, and ensure regulatory compliance across hospital units. This is an on-site leadership role based in India.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily nursing operations across wards, ICUs, emergency, and outpatient services to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
  • Drive clinical governance and quality-improvement initiatives, including NABH accreditation readiness, clinical audits, and incident reporting systems.
  • Design and implement infection prevention & control protocols, monitor compliance, and coordinate outbreak response with the infection control team.
  • Manage nursing workforce planning: recruitment, rostering, performance monitoring, mentorship, and continuing professional development.
  • Collaborate with medical, allied health, and administrative leaders on care pathways, resource allocation, and patient-safety programs.
  • Oversee nursing budgets and inventories for clinical supplies; recommend procurement priorities and cost-control measures.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Nursing (B.Sc/M.Sc Nursing) or equivalent; postgraduate qualification in nursing administration preferred.
  • Registered with the relevant State Nursing Council and certifications such as BLS/ACLS preferred. Prior experience leading nursing teams in a tertiary-care hospital and involvement in NABH accreditation is highly desirable.
