Role Description The Nursing Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing services to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The role includes overseeing daily ward operations, allocating staff, monitoring adherence to clinical protocols, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The Nursing Incharge will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, support critical care interventions, and ensure timely administration of medicines and treatments. This role also involves mentoring and guiding nursing staff, facilitating training, maintaining infection control standards, and promoting a patient-centered, compassionate care environment. The Nursing Incharge will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Nursing Management skills, including staff supervision, shift planning, and coordination of nursing services.
  • Candidates should possess solid Nursing and Patient Care skills to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based clinical care.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine to support treatment plans and manage patients with complex health needs.
  • Relevant professional nursing qualification (e.g., B.Sc. Nursing or GNM) with current registration from the appropriate nursing council.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role in a hospital or senior care setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Ability to handle emergencies, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, continuous learning, and adherence to organizational standards and protocols.
