Job Description
1. Medical Camp Coordination
- Plan and coordinate daily medical camps and health awareness programs in assigned communities.
- Ensure community participation by coordinating with Teachers in education programs, volunteers, and local leaders.
- Prepare camp logistics including medicine kits, equipment, and patient registration.
- Support doctors during medical camps and ensure proper documentation of services.
- Assist doctors in conducting outreach health activities in community locations.
2. Community Health Activities
- Visit communities regularly to conduct health awareness programs and health education sessions.
- Conduct monthly Special Health Day programs and seasonal disease awareness campaigns.
- Promote healthy practices related to hygiene, nutrition, maternal and child health, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with community volunteers and stakeholders to improve participation in health initiatives.
3. Monitoring Field Activities
- Regularly visit communities to monitor the work of ground-level staff (MLC Teachers / CHAs).
- Support field teams in implementing health activities and ensure quality service delivery.
- Participate in collaborative community activities and outreach programs.
4. Medicine and Medical Inventory Management
- Maintain medicine stock, monitor expiry dates, and ensure proper storage.
- Prepare medicine kits for medical camps and community visits.
- Dispense medicines accurately based on doctor's prescriptions.
- Maintain and update the medicine stock register.
5. Data Management and Reporting
- Update medical camp details, medicine distribution, and health surveillance data in the system.
- Track patient records, follow-ups, and referrals.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of daily health activities.
6. Disease Surveillance and Patient Follow-up
- Identify and report communicable diseases or outbreaks in the community.
- Ensure follow-up of patients after medical camps and home visits.
- Monitor treatment adherence and document any complications or adverse events.
7. Coordination with Medical Team
- Communicate regularly with the doctor regarding camp schedules, medicine stocks, and patient referrals.
- Share key health findings from communities to support program planning.
