Job Summary:
Aleading healthcare institution in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse to join the team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience working in Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Cardiac Care Units (CCU). This role is vital for providing exceptional patient care, monitoring critical conditions, and assisting doctors in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assist in the management of ventilators, life support systems, and other critical care equipment.
- Perform emergency procedures and provide immediate care to patients in life-threatening conditions.
- Collaborate with doctors and the medical team to develop care plans tailored to individual patients.
- Maintain accurate records of patient health, medication administration, and treatment progress.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Ensure the adherence to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and handling of medical instruments and equipment used in ICU/CCU procedures.
- Participate in continuous professional development and attend training programs as required by the hospital.
- Work in shifts to ensure 24/7 patient care, including night and weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
Education:
- General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ICU/CCU.
Skills:
- Proficient in critical care procedures and emergency interventions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and technology used in intensive care settings.
