Qualification
B.Sc Nursing / GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized institution.
Registered Nurse (RN) certification with State Nursing Council.
Experience
2 to 3 years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Freshers with strong clinical training may also apply.
Skills Required
Good clinical and patient care skills
Strong communication and teamwork ability
Ability to work in rotational shifts
Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
Basic computer knowledge for medical records
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted in wards, ICU, or emergency.
Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen levels.
Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed by the doctor.
Assist patients with daily activities such as feeding, hygiene, and mobility when required.
Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Clinical Support
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries.
Perform wound dressing, catheter care, oxygen therapy, and other nursing procedures.
Collect blood, urine, or other samples for laboratory testing.
Monitoring and Documentation
Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment charts regularly.
Monitor patient progress and immediately report changes in condition to the doctor.
Ensure proper documentation in hospital medical records or EMR systems.
Infection Control and Safety
Follow hospital infection control protocols and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper sterilization and safe handling of medical equipment.
Implement patient safety measures and emergency response when required.
Communication
Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and recovery.
Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare staff for effective patient care.
Participate in ward rounds and clinical discussions.
