Amity Global School, Noida is an IB World School offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Cambridge curriculum, and IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). The school is located in Sector 44, Noida.

Position Summary

Amity Global School, Noida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff. The ideal candidate should be capable of providing first aid, managing the school infirmary, maintaining health records, and promoting a healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students, staff, and visitors.
• Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries during school hours.
• Administer prescribed medications with proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, and epilepsy.
• Conduct routine health screenings and maintain immunization records.
• Coordinate with parents, hospitals, and healthcare professionals regarding student health.
• Ensure the school infirmary is well-equipped with medicines and first-aid supplies.
• Maintain hygiene and infection-control protocols across the campus.
• Organize health awareness sessions and wellness initiatives for students and staff.
• Assist during school events, sports activities, educational trips, and emergencies.
• Prepare medical reports and maintain accident/incident documentation.
• Ensure compliance with school health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
• CPR/BLS Certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in a school, pediatric, or hospital setting.

• Strong clinical assessment and first-aid skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
• Child-friendly, empathetic, and patient approach.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital record management.

Preferred

• Experience in IB, Cambridge, CBSE, or International Schools will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of child safeguarding and school health policies.
