Numerical Simulation Intern — Magnetocaloric Refrigeration
Caloreon | Kolkata, West Bengal | Hybrid / In-person | Paid Internship
Cooling without compressors or refrigerant gases.
Join us as a Numerical Simulation Intern if you are passionate about exploring the physics of next-generation cooling.
What you will work on
. Build 1D/2D models of Active Magnetic Regenerators (AMRs)
· Test how field geometry, flow rate, cycle frequency change cooling performance.
· Simulate magnetic-field distribution in magnet assemblies
· Validate models against published data and our prototypes
What we are looking for
. B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc. students or recent graduates in engineering or physics
. A good grasp of thermodynamics, heat transfer or fluid mechanics
. Experience with Python, MATLAB, COMSOL or ANSYS
. You enjoy solving problems where the answer is not known yet
