Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nuclear Physicist located in Visakhapatnam. The Nuclear Physicist will conduct advanced research and experiments related to nuclear physics and radiation, analyze data to ensure radiation safety compliance, and develop innovative solutions to enhance radiation protection measures. The role also includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contributing expertise to the design and testing of radiation shielding systems, and ensuring adherence to industry safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Nuclear Physics, with hands-on experience in conducting advanced research and experiments
- Expertise in Radiation and Radiation Safety to ensure compliance with industry safety standards
- Comprehensive understanding of Physics principles as they apply to nuclear and radiation sciences
- Familiarity with handling specialized equipment used in Nuclear and Radiation applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and precision in conducting technical assessments
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Nuclear Science, or a related field
- Experience working within industries such as nuclear energy, medical imaging, or research laboratories is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to challenging environments
