We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Consultant to join our healthcare team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting nuclear medicine procedures, collaborating with medical professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and evaluations to determine the need for nuclear medicine procedures.
- Perform and interpret nuclear medicine scans such as PET, SPECT, and bone scans.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans based on diagnostic imaging results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols related to nuclear medicine.
- Educate patients and their families about nuclear medicine procedures and what to expect during their course of treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, procedures performed, and diagnostic results.
Skills and Qualifications
- MD in Nuclear Medicine or Radiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and technologies.
- Proficient in interpreting diagnostic imaging results and patient data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and regulations in handling radioactive materials.
