NPD Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated NPD Executive to drive product innovation, optimize packaging designs, and support our growth in the dynamic packaging market.

Responsibilities

• Design & Prototyping: Conceptualize, design, and develop custom corrugated packaging solutions using industry-standard software (e.g., ArtiosCAD).
• Product Testing: Conduct rigorous structural and physical testing (e.g., BCT, ECT, drop tests) to ensure packaging integrity and product safety.
• Material Optimization: Analyze and select the optimal flute profiles, paper grades, and board combinations to balance cost-efficiency with structural performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales & Marketing and Production teams to transition new designs from initial concept to full-scale commercial manufacturing.
• Costing & Estimation: Calculate accurate bill of materials (BOM), tooling costs, and production timelines to support competitive pricing.
• Market Research: Monitor industry trends, emerging eco-friendly materials, and competitor innovations to identify new product opportunities.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in packaging design, product development, or related roles within the corrugated packaging industry.
• Practical knowledge of structural testing methods (BCT, ECT, drop tests) and packaging optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., ArtiosCAD) and familiarity with eco-friendly packaging materials will be an added advantage.
