Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Manesar for an NPD Costing Senior Engineer. The position involves coordinating with cross-functional teams for the introduction of new products, managing costing activities, and analyzing material and production costs. Additional responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and working closely with suppliers and customers to optimize processes and quotes. The role requires hands-on collaboration with manufacturing teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in costing practices, including cost estimation and cost analysis for materials and production processes.
• Experience with Injection Molding, Spray Coating, and Assembly processes within the automotive, electrical, or electronics industry.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques to efficiently manage new product development (NPD) projects.
• Good communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Analytical abilities for problem-solving and decision-making to optimize processes and identify cost-effective solutions.
• Technical qualifications such as a degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Industrial Engineering or a related field are preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive standards, compliance, and quality assurance processes is advantageous.
