Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a North Indian Head Chef based in Hubli. The North Indian Head Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing a variety of authentic North Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include leading and supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, planning menus, and collaborating with management to enhance customer satisfaction. The role also involves innovation in menu offerings to reflect seasonal and contemporary culinary trends.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in preparing a wide variety of traditional and modern North Indian cuisines, including the use of spices and cooking techniques native to the region.
  • Strong experience in kitchen management, including supervising staff, planning menus, and managing daily kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Experience in inventory management, cost control, and ordering ingredients to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Creative culinary skills to innovate and develop new recipes and dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for team management and coordination with other departments.
  • Formal culinary training or certification is a plus.
