We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable applications and a passion for creating efficient server-side solutions. You will be responsible for developing robust APIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Write and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
- Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
