Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Technical Leadership
Lead the architecture and development of backend services using Node.js and GraphQL, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Define API standards, schema design guidelines, and best practices for GraphQL queries, mutations, and resolvers.
Drive technical decision-making, conduct design reviews, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and engineering standards. Cloud Engineering (AWS & Azure)
Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and Azure services, focusing on reliability, security, and cost optimization.
Establish deployment patterns and operational practices for cloud workloads, including monitoring, logging, and incident readiness.
Ensure cloud governance adherence, including identity, access management, and secure configuration practices. Delivery & Collaboration
Partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and support team execution through code reviews and engineering coaching.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide regular status updates.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building cloud-native backend platforms with strong focus on performance tuning, scalability, and resilience.
Expertise in API lifecycle management, versioning strategies, and governance for GraphQL-based services.
Experience implementing security best practices for cloud and APIs, including authentication/authorization patterns and secure access controls.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design through delivery and operationalization.
Track record of mentoring teams, improving engineering practices, and driving consistent code quality through reviews and standards. Good to have skills: TypeScript, Apollo Server, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
9+ years of overall experience in backend engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js.
Proven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs, including schema design and resolver patterns.
Strong experience delivering solutions on AWS and Azure, including architecture, deployment, and operations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive technical alignment.
