Role: Node JS Full Stack Developer

About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, high-performance web applications. You will architect and deliver end-to-end features — from designing RESTful in Node.js to crafting polished, responsive UIs in React and Next.js — while championing engineering best practices including containerization, automated testing, and microservices design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and Express / Fastify
- Build performant, accessible UIs with React and Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR)
- Develop and maintain microservices with event-driven communication (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, Vitest, and Playwright
- Containerize applications with Docker
- Define and consume RESTful APIs
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Perform code reviews on engineering best practices
- Monitor and optimize system performance, observability, and reliability (SLA/SLO)
Required Skills & Tech Stack
- Backend development using Node.js, Express.js, Fastify, and building REST APIs
- Frontend technologies including React.js, Next.js (SSR / SSG / ISR), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Hands-on experience with State Management tools such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query, or SWR
- Experience working with Databases like PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
- Good understanding of Testing frameworks including Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Supertest, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience with Containerization using Docker
- Exposure to DevOps / CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years of fullstack development experience in production environments
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend
- Good understanding of SOLID principles
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and sprint ceremonies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
