Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js .
  • Build robust and high-performance server-side applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and DevOps teams.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best development practices.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues effectively.
  • Integrate third-party services, databases, and APIs as required.
  • Ensure application reliability, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and modern backend development practices.
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments is preferred.
  • Understanding of message queues, caching systems, and scalable system design is a plus.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Product-oriented mindset with attention to scalability and performance.
  • Prior experience in fintech/startup environments will be an added advantage.
