Node.Js Backend Developer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Backend Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing robust backend solutions, collaborating closely with front-end developers, and ensuring the overall performance and security of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Ensure the security and data protection of the application
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into development processes

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
• Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
