Job Description
Role: NOC support engineer - (AWS, Linux, Shell/Bash/Python) Experience: 3 to 5 Years Work location: Hinjewadi, Pune Work mode: Hybrid Key Responsibilities Monitor system health, alerts, dashboards, and logs using standard monitoring tools. Perform first-level and second-level troubleshooting on incidents. Execute runbooks for known issues and escalate when needed. Perform basic Linux troubleshooting (logs, services, disk/CPU/memory checks). Run and interpret basic SQL queries for data validation and issue diagnosis. Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) for routine checks and troubleshooting. Document incident details, resolution steps, and maintain knowledge base articles. Communicate timely updates to stakeholders and ensure proper shift handover. Collaborate with L2/L3 teams for deeper analysis and RCA contributions. (Optional) Build scripts to automate repetitive checks or reporting. Good to Have – Automation/Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell (any scripting experience is a plus). Experience with CI/CD concepts. Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes. Understanding of ITIL processes. Shift Requirements Comfortable with 24×7 rotational shifts. Ability to join on-call rotation for critical incidents.
