Description
We are seeking a skilled Network & Systems Engineer with strong experience in networking, Cisco technologies, and Windows Server environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and support UniFi network infrastructure, including setup, monitoring, and optimization.
- Administer Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, wired and wireless networks, and firewall configurations.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including threat prevention, endpoint protection, and
patch management.
- Monitor network security and respond to potential vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Manage backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Support and maintain Cove Data Protection (formerly SolarWinds Cove) or similar backup solutions.
- Define and monitor backup policies and perform data recovery when required.
- Provide end-user support for network, system, and security-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth IT operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in networking, Cisco technologies, and Windows Server environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, wireless networking).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience managing UniFi network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, and patch management.
- Hands-on experience with backup solutions, preferably Cove Data Protection (SolarWinds Cove).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, customers, and operations teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
