Role Summary
The NSM Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining network and service management platforms including HPE UCA, HPE TeMIP, HPE NNMi, and HPE Service Manager in an Operational Technology (OT) environment. The role ensures high availability, performance monitoring, and efficient incident/service handling.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain HPE UCA, TeMIP, NNMi, and Service Manager (SM) platforms.
Monitor network performance, alarms, and events using NNMi and TeMIP,UCA.
Manage incidents, service requests, and change management through HPE Service Manager.
Configure thresholds, alerts, dashboards, and event correlation.
Handle fault, performance, and event management in OT networks.
Integrate NSM tools with ticketing systems, APIs, and reporting platforms.
Troubleshoot HPE,OT tools issues and coordinate with OEM/vendors.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and periodic health checks.
Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and incidents.
Ensure SLA adherence and reporting.
Requirements
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with:
HPE UCA
HPE TeMIP
HPE NNMi
HPE Service Manager (SM)
Strong understanding of:
Network protocols (SNMP, TCP/IP, ICMP)
ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Fault & Performance Management
Linux/Unix systems
Experience in OT(Open Text knowledge)
Experience in tool integration and API usage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
3–7 years of experience in Network/Service Management
Preferred Skills
Experience with telecom-grade monitoring and OSS tools
Exposure to large-scale network environments
ITIL framework knowledge
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work in 24x7 support environments
