Overview
We're looking for a developer who sits at the intersection of engineering and marketing. This role isn't just about building pages—it's about owning the entire marketing tech layer: high-performance websites, conversion-focused tools, and AI-assisted workflows that drive pipeline.
You'll be responsible for building, optimizing, and continuously evolving our marketing website and related assets using modern frameworks and AI-first development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development & Management
- Build and maintain a high-performance marketing website using Next.js and React
- Implement scalable, modular frontend architecture
- Own deployment, performance, and uptime of marketing properties
- Marketing Tech & Tooling
- Develop interactive tools, calculators, and lead magnets to drive acquisition
- Integrate with CRM, analytics, and marketing automation platforms
- Support landing page experimentation and rapid campaign launches
- Build lightweight backend services to support marketing tools (forms, calculators, lead capture flows)
- Design and manage data flow between frontend, APIs, CRM, and databases
- Ensure reliability and integrity of captured marketing data
- Performance & Optimization
- Optimize for Core Web Vitals, page speed, and overall UX
- Ensure best practices in SSR, SSG, caching, and edge delivery
- Continuously improve conversion rates through technical enhancements
- SEO / AEO / GEO Execution
- Implement technical SEO best practices (schema, metadata, crawlability, indexing)
- Optimize content and structure for AI-driven discovery (AEO/GEO)
- Work closely with marketing to ensure content is search and AI-friendly
- AI-First Development
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., code generation, automation, debugging, prototyping) in daily workflows
- Build faster using AI-assisted development while maintaining code quality
- Identify opportunities to embed AI into user-facing tools and internal processes
- Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams
- Translate marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Act as the go-to person for all frontend and marketing tech needs
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience with React and Next.js
- Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and performance optimization
- Experience building APIs using Node.js (preferably within Next.js API routes or serverless functions)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and/or GraphQL
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Ability to design simple data models for marketing use cases (leads, events, form submissions)
- Experience handling form submissions, validation, and backend workflows
- Familiarity with authentication, rate limiting, and basic API security
- Experience building high-conversion marketing websites or landing pages
- Solid knowledge of:
- Technical SEO fundamentals
- Web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, etc.)
- API integrations and headless CMS setups
- Familiarity with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) concepts
- Experience using AI tools for development workflows (this is not optional—you should already be using them daily)
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to move fast without breaking things
