We are building a fast-growing Delhi-based ground news & crime content channel and are looking for a self-driven candidate who can handle the entire workflow from finding breaking crime news to publishing engaging YouTube Shorts.
- Key ResponsibilitiesTrack latest Delhi crime-related news daily (robbery, murder, scams, violence, law & order issues)
- Research each story before and after the incident to add depth and context
- Find fresh news leads from:
- Twitter (X)
- Official police handles
- Big media pages & news channels
- Public videos & verified sources
- Convert raw information into a unique, engaging story-based YouTube Short
- Ensure content is copyright-safe (no copying scripts or direct re-uploads)
- Write strong hooks & narratives for maximum retention
- Perform basic video editing (cuts, captions, background footage, voice/text overlays)
- Publish or hand over ready-to-upload Shorts consistently
- Required SkillsStrong news sense & crime reporting interest (Delhi-specific preferred)
- Excellent storytelling & presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex incidents into 3060 sec Shorts
- Basic video editing knowledge (CapCut / Premiere Pro / VN / similar tools)
- Understanding of YouTube Shorts virality & retention
- Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership
- Comfortable working fast with daily news cycles
- Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)Experience with news pages, media startups, or political content
- Familiarity with Delhi local issues, police structure, or courts
- Voice-over experience (Hindi/English)
