Job Description:-

We are looking for a confident, dynamic, and presentable News Anchor to join our newsroom team. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a clear on-screen presence, and the ability to deliver news with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:-

Present news stories, live bulletins, and special programs clearly and engagingly.

Writing and revising scripts to meet strict broadcast time constraints.

Researching local, national, and international events, and collaborating with reporters to verify news.

Conduct live interviews, panel discussions, and on-ground reporting when required.

Work closely with the editorial team, producers, and reporters to ensure smooth broadcast flow.

Read scripts accurately and adapt quickly during breaking news situations.

Stay updated with current events, trending stories, and regional news.

Scheduling and conducting interviews with experts, officials, and news subjects.

Managing social media to engage with the audience and source stories.

Delivering fast, accurate updates as news happens.

Requirements:-

• Expertise in Reporting, Broadcasting, and News Writing
• Strong skills in presenting and hosting live or pre-recorded news segments
• Experience in Broadcast Journalism and familiarity with media ethics and practices
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with an audience
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
• Knowledge of current events and trends in media and news reporting
• Experience in video production and editing is an added advantage

Pay: up to 30,000 per month, depending on the interview
