Role Description This is a full-time, on-site News Anchor role based in Ghaziabad. The News Anchor will present live and recorded news bulletins, ensuring clear, accurate, and engaging delivery across digital and broadcast platforms. Daily responsibilities include researching current events, collaborating with reporters and producers, reviewing scripts, and adapting breaking news for on-air presentation.
The role also involves conducting interviews, moderating debates, and participating in field segments when required. The News Anchor will be expected to maintain high editorial standards, uphold newsroom ethics, and contribute ideas for improving content quality and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong Reporting and News Writing skills to research, verify, and present accurate, balanced stories.
- Broadcasting, Presenter, and Broadcast Journalism skills to deliver clear, confident, and engaging on-air content.
- Excellent verbal communication, on-camera presence, and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, handle breaking news, and adapt to changing editorial priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity with digital media, social platforms, and audience engagement best practices.
- Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and fairness in reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as news demands.
