New Relic Monitoring Automation Engineer

Job Summary Seeking an experienced New Relic Monitoring Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in configuring deploying and automating New Relic solutions The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of NRQL alerting dashboards and policies along with strong automation and scripting skills to support cloud and monitoring operations at scale Key Responsibilities Configure deploy and manage New Relic monitoring solutions across applications and infrastructure Automate New Relic agent deployment and configuration using automation tools and scripts Design configure and manage alerts alert policies dashboards and SLAs in New Relic Write and optimize NRQL queries for monitoring troubleshooting and performance analysis Build custom dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights Integrate New Relic with cloud and DevOps pipelines Implement monitoring-as-code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible Collaborate with application infrastructure and SRE teams to improve observability and system reliability Troubleshoot performance issues and proactively identify system bottlenecks Required Skills Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with New Relic configuration and administration Proven expertise in NRQL query writing Experience automating New Relic deployments and configurations Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible Solid understanding of cloud environments and modern DevOps practices Experience configuring alerts policies dashboards and integrations in New Relic Preferred Skills Experience with CICD pipelines Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP Background in Site Reliability Engineering SRE or Observability practices Experience Level 8+ years of relevant experience in monitoring automation or DevOps roles 7+ years of hands-on experience with New Relic preferred
